1.Work closely with and provide support to Facilities Management (FM) Communications Officer to implement strategic internal and external communication initiatives.
a.Promote department mission and vision. b.Develop and manage, with guidance, social media content and calendar. c.Develop communications desk reference manual. d.Publish web content. e.Connect with internal staff to write content for news releases. f.Maintain project task lists and timelines; track progress. g.Create content and imagery for regular updates of digital signage (Four Winds). h.Create and distribute surveys and summarize results in data reports.
2.Monitor, analyze, and create reports of public relations results monthly. 3.Perform other duties as assigned and/ or delegated to support all operations.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
1.1-2 years' experience in strategic communications and messaging, including communication plans and campaign support. 2.Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to produce clear, compelling written deliverables. 3.Capacity to thrive while working on rapidly evolving initiatives amidst competing timelines and requests. 4.Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain close working partnerships and relationships. 5.Knowledge of AP style. 6.Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) and Google applications (Mail, Analytics, etc.). 7.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required, Photoshop and Illustrator preferred). 8.Understanding of best practice in effective internal and external communications. 9.Selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
