In this exciting term role, you willbe performing the work of a Clinical Translational Coordinator 2, where youwill be responsible forcoordinating the approval processes and conduct of research protocols, assuringthat the integrity and quality of the research is maintained and that theresearch is conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines,federal and sponsor regulations and guidelines, Vanderbilt Policy and Procedureand research protocols. You will manage screening, implement recruitmentprocedures, consent, enrollment, randomization and study conduct from planningthrough study closeout. Additionally,you will perform or implement processes to assure study-related procedures areperformed as required and objectives and timelines are met, as well as maintainaccurate and timely documentation and communication with Investigators,participants, IRB, sponsors and other research-related entities.

3.Assistancewith supporting materials for new grant proposals, manuscripts, andpresentations
1.Developor revise as needed manuals relevant to experimental and analytic procedures
2.Superviseresearch assistantsâ administration of, or directly administer, standardizedspeech, language and cognitive assessments
3.Superviseresearch assistantsâ collection and coding of, or directly collect and code, datafrom various experimental protocols
4.Developor revise as needed plans to ensure a) fidelity in administration ofexperimental procedures and b) reliability in scoring/coding of assessments andentry of data
5.Assistwith collection and analysis of psychophysical and physiological measures, suchas heart rate, EEG/ERP, etc.
6.Record,compile, and communicate data and results to PI
7.Assistin preparation of results for dissemination via various means, including oralpresentations and manuscripts
8.Maintainknowledge of scientific trends in research in stuttering through literaturereviews, attendance meetings, conferences, and seminars
Coordinationof Research-Related Activities:
1.Assistin interviewing, hiring, and supervising/coordinating undergraduate and/orgraduate research assistants
2.Ensurethat all student research assistants are in compliance with IRB, meetingrequirements for course credit in their respective departments, and on-track toachieve their personal lab training objectives
3.Coordinatetimes and locations for in-person meetings and/or conference calls withcollaborators across departments and institutions
4.Assistwith submissions to, and travel arrangements for, several interdisciplinaryconferences, trainings, professional development activities annually
5.Assistin development of parent and/or clinician friendly newsletters, emails, pressreleases, social media and/or web content that will ensure effectivetranslational of laboratory findings from research to practice

Thisterm position is expected to last up to a year, possibly longer, contingentupon funding, and will work 10-15 hours weekly. Some weekend availability is a must.
