Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, Unclassified, AFT position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is an NL position. NL staff do not earn compensatory time for extension of the normal work day, only for work performed on Saturday, Sunday or a State holiday.

Undergraduate students choose to concentrate their studies in one of five schools with more than 539 course offerings and 36 academic programs. Ramapo College boasts an average student/faculty ratio of 18:1 and average class size of 23, affording students the opportunity to develop close ties to the College's exceptional faculty.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director is responsible for the planning and execution of the undergraduate admissions communication plan in our CRM system (Technolutions/Slate). The Assistant Director works closely with the Director to plan and strategize traditional and electronic communication sequences with prospective, applied and accepted students. The Assistant Director is also responsible for the coordination of all on-campus recruitment events, including but not limited to: Open House, Admitted Student Day Receptions, Luncheons and newly created events. The Assistant Director provides detailed analytical reports on each event, evaluating data and creating recommendations for alignment with the strategic plan. The Assistant Director also provides coverage for off-campus recruitment events as assigned
Manage and develop the admissions CRM (Technolutions/Slate). This includes oversight of the inquiry base, communications stream, application processing and data reporting.
Oversee annual communication planning, analyze and report on relevant data, and make adjustments and recommendations accordingly.
Coordinate all on-campus recruitment events; Open House, Admitted Student Day, other yield events, counselor events and any newly created events.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive training documentation pertaining to the systems and associated processes, and train college personnel in the use of Slate.
Serve as liaison to Office of Marketing and Web.
Coordinate Office of Admissions social media accounts i.e. Twitter, Instagram etc.
Provide data analysis to the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs on strategic admission initiatives.
Interview and counsel prospective students and parents.
Conduct outreach and follow-up, to prospective students and applicants.
Review and recommend decisions on applications to the college from assigned territories/alphabet.
Serve on institutional committees as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Present Ramapo to external and internal constituencies as needed and directed by the Director of Admissions.
Supports three Associate Directors with their use of CRM system and communication plans.
All other duties as assigned.
Two years' experience in college admissions office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience with Technolutions/Slate preferred
Excellent public speaking and writing skills
A car and valid driver's license, required
Ability to work evening and weekend hours
