The Program Coordinator II will focus on three primary program areas: employee advancement, division communications, and initiative tracking. Responsibilities will include efforts to improve employee engagement, development, and advancement within the Division of Enrollment & Academic Services, advising division leadership, as well as facilitate communications through appropriate methods, including maintaining the division website and news.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of related program employee advancement, diversity, or communications experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Five years of employee advancement, diversity, or communications experience, preferably at a large public university.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Professional advancement and wellness efforts for managers and staff within the division
Promote, track, and Facilitate award opportunities for staff, including crafting nominations
Identify best practices within division management for improved employee engagement and quality customer service
Provide support for comprehensive feedback of managers and external development opportunities
Manage division website
Manage division news
Promote the use of social media, as appropriate to keep employees connected to the mission and activities of the division
Liaison with training personnel in departmental offices to facilitate division wide training opportunities
Liaison between the VP and the Professional Development Committee
Facilitate any division-wide surveys of employees or student services
Coordinate routine retreat activities and logistics for division-level managers and executives
Tracking of strategic initiatives within the division
Facilitate WeaveOnline for division
Attend professional development opportunities, conferences, and workshops Work on special projects within the division
Other duties as assigned
