Core ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to: •Under the direction of DSEF’s Chief of Entrepreneurship Initiatives, effectively communicates the goals and accomplishments of DSEF’s Academic Program •Supports the Foundation’s internal and external communications efforts, including social media management, website maintenance and assisting with newsletter and collateral development •Supports Director, Academic Initiatives, in communicating to DSEF Fellows, including maintaining a moderated Facebook group, developing dedicated website resources and identifying and disseminating relevant industry news to staff and fellows•Manages academic organization memberships and conference attendance, including coordinating travel arrangements and trade show/conference exhibits•Provides development support, including assisting with invoicing, thank-you letters and emails, database management and updating recognition section of website•Supports coordination of DSEF Board of Directors meetings, including assisting with registration, meeting preparation and materials development•As required, supports other Foundation initiatives and projects.
•College degree with a minimum of three-five years of professional experience•Ability to effectively manage a number of projects simultaneously •Exception oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills•Proven ability to effectively use social media and other applicable technology for digital communications •Familiarity with database management •Proficiency in email marketing programs such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.•Understanding and acceptance of the direct selling business model •Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently•Enthusiasm, a good sense of humor and positive can-do attitude is essential•Ability to travel
