The Sr. Sourcer works closely with the Talent Advisor Consultants to understand staffing needs then develop proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment tactics. Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit qualified talent. Sr. Sourcer will creatively source, assess and select qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. Sr. Sourcer will also be responsible for creating a positive customer experience to applicants. This role will anticipate industry trends and utilizes labor market information to ensure best in class candidate sourcing.
Works closely with the Talent Advisor Consultants to understand staffing needs and develops a proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent.
Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing tactics to target qualified applicants for vacancies. Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future reference including pipeline of passive candidates.
Performs advanced sourcing including social media, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions. Participates in media planning to determine media contracts.
Performs structured screening and assessment to assure applicants meet both job and organization requirements.
Makes recommendation to Talent Advisor Consultants and hiring managers on the referral of the qualified candidates. Communicates status of searches with the Talent Advisor Consultants on consistent and timely basis. Manages responses to applicants including but not limited to: receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements.
Enters and maintains, current and accurate information in applicant tracking system including but not limited to: job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information and other required data. Maintains and reports Recruitment Metrics for assigned departments/key jobs on a regular scheduled basis.
Maintains knowledge of current Cedars-Sinai employee benefits, salary structures, etc. Provides Cedars-Sinai information related to culture and benefits to potential candidates, which promotes Cedars-Sinai as the Employer of Choice.

Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements: Strongly Prefer Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Strongly prefer certification in Human Resources or Healthcare Recruitment. Experience: 1. Requires a minimum of five (5) years current human resources experience (with demonstrated solid experience and knowledge in recruitment and other human resources disciplines including, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee/labor relations, training and organization development). Strongly prefer healthcare industry experience. 2. Experience with full scope staffing including knowledge of sourcing efficacy, candidate assessment techniques and job offer negotiation skills. 3. Strong knowledge and application of Federal and California employment laws, regulations and legislation. 4. Demonstrated success working independently, forging relationships, and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving. 6. Exemplary organizational skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow through on requests. 7. Ability to analyze with qualitative and quantitative information for decision support. 8. High level of proficiency using Microsoft Windows, and other Microsoft Office Software, Applicant Tracking Systems and electronic recruitment tools.
