The newly created position of Communications Specialist will contribute to the success of an expanded digital marketing strategy at St. John’s. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced writer and storyteller who can create content for print and online publication. This is a part-time position reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
- As part of a comprehensive, strategic digital marketing program, write and edit compelling print and online content to engage all audiences: parents, students, prospective families, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Content will include profiles, feature stories, blogs, news releases, fund-raising appeals, social media posts, email communication and school website content.
- Collaborate with communications, admission and advancement to generate ideas and write content that supports key priorities and initiatives throughout the year.
- Develop creative ways to reuse and repurpose content, online and in print.
- Other duties as requested.
