Bachelor’s degree and/or prior professional office background.
Excellent communicator with strong grammar, writing and editing skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy, reliable, mature, quick learner and take initiative.
Proficient with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HTML, online and social media applications.
Able to juggle multiple priorities, work independently and in a team.
Be very flexible, able and willing to be away from home to provide on-site staff support at events and meetings, often working long hours to ensure success for all events. Should be able and willing to pitch-in and help with any and all projects in the office as needed.
Represent the association with professionalism to multiple audiences via phone and in-person.

The Oregon Association of REALTORS® was established in 1932 to organize the real estate profession in Oregon. Today it is one of the largest and most influential trade associations in the state, representing over 15,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate profession. Our members are residential and commercial brokers, managing principal brokers, property managers, and industry aff...iliates.
The work of the Association is overseen by an Executive Committee, headed by the President of the Association and by a 100+ member Board of Directors, representative of 27 local boards and associations from throughout the state. The 2017 President and Chair of the Board is George Grabenhorst from Salem.
The Association currently has 12 employees on staff. The senior staff team is comprised of Dr. John Wallace (Chief Executive Officer), Jenny Pakula (VP of Legal Affairs & Business Development), and Shawn Cleave (Government Affairs Director).
