Pediatric Nursing Information Session & Interview Day - Saturday, April 21st, 2018 10:00am
The Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) provides comprehensive cancer treatments to children of all ages. As the world's oldest and largest private cancer center, MSK is uniquely equipped to care for children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of cancer, from the most common to the most rare. Our pediatric cancer program is the largest of its kind in the United States, with more than 800 new patients each year, giving us unparalleled expertise in the field.
The Department of Pediatrics was recently featured on the social media sensation Humans of New York.
During the event, you'll have an opportunity to meet our Pediatric nursing leadership and learn about what it's like to work in the department. The event will begin with the information and networking session, followed by individual interviews.
We are seeking experienced nurses to join our team and provide exceptional care for our youngest patients. In this role, you will work a 12 hour shift, (Days - 6am-11pm, Nights - 7pm-7:30am) with weekend rotation. The ideal candidates have at least two years of clinical experience, and pediatric experience strongly preferred (does not have to Pediatric Oncology).
BCLS, PALS, BSN
NYS RN license/registration
2 years of related clinical experience required
Pediatric oncology and/or chemotherapy or pediatric inpatient experience preferred
National Certification highly preferred
