1. CONTENT PRODUCTION AND MANAGEMENT - Work in consultation with WSU Marketing and Communications team to plan, create and publish unique content for digital platforms, to include: (a) Audio (interviews, recordings, soundtracks); (b) Visual (video, infographics, digital signage, memes, gifs); (c) Text (blog posts, scripts, news and information, web copy) - Produce digital content for external and internal audiences that supports the institutional mission, objectives and brand standards; including academics, recruitment and retention, student and campus life, inclusion and diversity , community engagement, fundraising, arts and event promotion, and internal communications. Content may be complex and/or sensitive in nature. - Develop and manage digital content from concept through to delivery - Manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception through execution and evaluation, to include: create clear and attainable project objectives; build project requirements; oversee cost, time and scope of projects; manage project constraints; communicate progress and end results - Assess and evaluate digital content and performance to inform overall Marketing and Communications strategy and planning - Oversee Marketing and Communications digital content hub which would include curation of in-house, external and organic digital content for university promotion, management of department keyword libraries and tagging strategies for digital platforms (i.e. blogs, website, photo libraries), and the organization and maintenance a digital library of video content
2. MARKETING/PUBLICITY - Develop internal and external marketing and publicity strategies for campus arts and cultural events in support of and in coordination with the academic Departments of Music and Theatre and Dance. - Design or assist with the design of marketing materials for university lecture series and the Music and Theatre and Dance departments - Develop and coordinated branding campaign for the Music, and Theatre and Dance departments - Work closely with Web Communications to the design and content of WSU's Arts and Lectures
1. Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, New Media, Advertising or related field
2. Two (2) years of experience in multimedia content production and management.
Note: 1. May attend and/or assist with occasional-to-frequent evening/weekend music/theatre performances and lectures/arts/cultural events.
Experience in arts marketing
Demonstrated proficiency in video production, including pre-production (script and storyboard development), production (cinematography, camera operations, lighting, audio production), and post-production (non-linear editing, audio editing and synching, color correction, titles, graphics, and editing and video compression for the web)
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro
Understanding of accessibility as it relates to video and knowledge of best practices to ensure multimedia is accessible
Familiarity with music licensing and copyright regulations
Experience with web content management systems (OpenText and WordPress preferred)
Experience in managing and creating content for social media
Knowledge of digital photography and photo editing
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills sufficient to write, produce and edit digital content.
Ability to clearly explain, discuss, communicate and present complex ideas.
Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills sufficient to fully understand customer requirements and create viable solutions.

Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse internal constituents
