To help support the work of the University we have an immediate opening for a Campus Experience & Event Coordinator. The Campus Experience & Event Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.
The Campus Experience & Event Coordinator is a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented professional who helps facilitate the University’s “campus experience” for student visits and admissions events in order to increase student awareness, inquiry and enrollment. This position creates and manages admission events (on campus and off), oversees student campus visits, manages and trains student ambassadors, creates campus experience marketing ideas, and works to enhance the admissions (and other campus) building environments for maximum student impact. This position requires strong technical skills, a highly service-oriented focus, and strong communication skills. This position will oversee the collection and management of all student visit related data, is responsible for managing student ambassador employment, oversees and manages all events, oversees admission event related marketing and communications, including social media, e-mail, direct mail and other forms across the Enrollment division—undergraduate, graduate, online and international.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and execute a yearly admissions event plan (including budget management) across undergraduate and graduate programs, leveraging ideas to improve both on-campus and off-campus student experiences. Oversee and manage all pre-event and event day logistics. Working in conjunction with the Campus Reception & Visit Coordinator, plan all student visits, coordinating appropriate admission and campus staff and faculty. Work collaboratively with the marketing and communications team to support and promote all campus events and campus experience related activities.
Represent Enrollment Office and communicate across departments, admission event details to ensure campus awareness, involvement, and high level of execution. Oversee Virtual Information Session (VIS) event creation and work with faculty and staff to ensure quality control. Manage student ambassador budget, timesheets and schedules to ensure appropriate levels of visit and event coverage and other duties as assigned.
Experience with event marketing and event management. Ability to manage timelines, budget, priorities and multiple events. Successful management of student or professional staff. Strong technical skills in database, CRM and productivity software. At least two years of related professional experience. At least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant course of study.
