Hephzibah Children’s Association is a child welfare agency with a variety of programs including residential group homes, foster care and intact family services, and summer and after school day care programs.
We are accepting applications for an entry level part time Communications Coordinator to provide external communications to donors, media, working partners and the public. The coordinator will manage all print and digital publications, the Hephzibah website and all social media platforms as well as provide administrative support to the Director of Development. The position is 15-20 hours per week at a rate of $15.00 per hour.
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated Proficiency with website management and social networking platforms
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft office products and Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with Chicago metropolitan area news outlets and philanthropic community desired
Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client populations
