Do you like to plan and organize office events and programs? The Office of Research, Research Development department, is seeking a Program Coordinator to join their team. This position will plan, design, evaluate, modify and coordinate Office of Research (OoR) events and Research Development (RD) programing. Customer service and positively representing UC and the OoR at various functions are key responsibilities.
Plan, design, modify and coordinate OoR events and RD programming
Manage a social media presence, communication and marketing responsibilities; enhance coverage and publicity of events and initiatives
Create customer surveys for experiences and satisfaction
Compile annual reports for further analysis
Supervise volunteers at activities and events
Coordinate travel arrangements for faculty, staff, students, and external guests
Maintain online calendar of events
Make purchases and allocate expenses
May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.)
Perform related duties based on departmental need
This position requires occasional work in early mornings, evenings, and weekends, both on and off UC's campuses.
Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years' experience; -OR- five (5) years' experience. Experience must be in program coordination.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail
Initiative and ability to multi-task and successfully complete concurrent projects
Excellent time management abilities, including ability to prioritize duties
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.; ability to learn other programs as necessary
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to load and use a moving dolly
Ability to travel around UC's campuses and Cincinnati for events
