What we are looking for:
A motivated, self-starter to be a member of our dynamic team as a Media Technology Specialist. You will cover a range of activities in multi-media and marketing that will help NREC expand its presence in commercial and government markets. Duties include creative direction and content development of multi-media, marketing and promotional products and services; hands-on production skills with video, web, photography, image editing, graphics design, social media, web site media generation, etc.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Generate graphics material for posters, flyers, banners and other printed material, or proposals
Generate videos and photos for our website, social media and our various monitors in our facilities (including the lobby)
Film video productions and process the footage until a final video product is delivered. These videos include generic marketing videos as well as project-specific videos.
Update content on our website (e.g. posting news stories that NREC leadership generates, updating videos/graphics, etc.) and on social media
Generate ideas on how to enhance NREC's image and branding
Troubleshoots installed A/V issues/problems. Makes assignments for repairing equipment. Decides if repairs or replacement parts are necessary.
Design other marketing material such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. and manage these mini projects from start to finish.
Proficient with a prevalent multimedia software suite such as Adobe Creative Suite 6 or Creative Cloud.
Demonstrate marketing abilities to help promote the NREC brand.
Experience with photographic and video equipment and the skills and experience for taking high-quality photos and videos
Able to lead, organize and bring to fruition multimedia projects from start to finish.
Note : The position may require taking photos and/or videos during special events at NREC (e.g. group visits, program reviews, VIP visitors) or during field tests for specific projects. These events may happen during evenings, weekends or require travel.
