The National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) has 20+ years experience developing and deploying robots into many applications across multiple sectors, such as agriculture, construction and humanitarian de-mining. We strive to provide solutions for real world challenges where automation and robots have great impact in productivity and the labor force's safety/comfort.
We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to be a member of our dynamic team as a Multimedia Specialist. In this role, you will cover a range of activities in multi-media and marketing that will help NREC expand its presence in commercial and government markets. Duties include creative direction and content development of multi-media, marketing and promotional products and services; hands-on production skills with video, web, photography, image editing, graphics design, social media, website media generation, etc.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Generating graphics material for posters, flyers, banners and other printed material, or proposals
Generating videos and photos for our website, social media and our various monitors in our facilities (including the lobby)
Filming video productions and processing the footage until a final video product is delivered. These videos include generic marketing videos as well as project-specific videos
Updating content on our website (e.g. posting news stories that NREC leadership generates, updating videos/graphics, etc.) and on social media
Generating ideas on how to enhance NREC's image and branding
Troubleshooting installed A/V issues/problems. Making assignments for repairing equipment. Deciding if repairs or replacement parts are necessary
Designing other marketing material such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. and handling these mini projects from the beginning to the end
Proficient with a prevalent multimedia software suite such as Adobe Creative Suite 6 or Creative Cloud.
Demonstrate marketing abilities to help promote the NREC brand.
Experience with photographic and video equipment and the skills and experience for taking high-quality photos and videos
Able to lead, organize and bring to fruition multimedia projects
Note : The position may require taking photos and/or videos during special events at NREC (e.g. group visits, program reviews, VIP visitors) or during field tests for specific projects. These events may happen during evenings, weekends or require travel.
