The Communications Specialist is an entry-level professional responsible for providing overall communications assistance to the Director of Communications of the College of Law. Primary responsibility is to execute graphic design and coordinate printing of College of Law graphics materials through creative presentation of the college and its informational materials. Creative work examples include but are not limited to production of magazines; brochures; annual reports; advertising media and Web materials.
Assists Director of Communications with the conceptualization and implementation of graphic solutions that aid in the marketing for the College of Law. Other responsibilities include offering assistance with the following:
Managing the college's website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.);
Writing and editing news releases, features, and other types of written content;
Coordinating HTML e-mail campaigns;
Assisting with communications strategy, planning, and research;
Other communications-related duties, as needed.
