A coalition of media organizations called the Charlotte Journalism Collaborative seeks a talented and experienced individual to be its part-time project editor and director. The CJC launched two years ago under the initial guidance of the Solutions Journalism Network (SJN), which encourages rigorous, solutions-based reporting on community issues. Funding is provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The collaborative’s media partners include public radio station WFAE , NBC TV affiliate WCNC, the Charlotte Observer, Q-notes, Queen City Metro and La Noticia.
