Responsibilities include:

  •  Oversee, develop, and implement the branding and marketing strategies for the school.
  • Communicate and publicize WNA’s history, mission and core values through printed materials, media outlets, and digital platforms.
  • Create, maintain, and publish content for the school’s website and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate and publish the school’s weekly communications, news releases and other event photo opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent branding, marketing, and communications.
  • Support admissions with promotional materials and advertisements for open houses and other school events.
  • Support department heads and assist the various school constituencies with brand related projects.

Develop and assist in managing the portion for marketing and communications initiatives and projects under the overall advancement team budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications or a related field. Masters’ degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of successful work experience with marketing, brand management, and communications. At least 2 years at a Leadership level.
  • Proven success and experience with website creation and publication of printed materials.
  • Strong writing, editing, designing, and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of targeted digital marketing strategies and fluency in using social media to effectively promote schools and/or organizations.
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent intra and interpersonal skills and commitment to working collaboratively.
  • A strong understanding of social media and marketing trends.

 

Residential Life

  • Member of a Weekend Duty Team (once every 4 to 5 weeks)

 

  • Creative, self-starter with a positive outlook and attitude.

 

  • Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the additional responsibilities involved in residential life and a willingness to enforce the school policies and rules governing student behavior

 

  • One season of after school sport/activity

We are a 9-12 grade coeducational boarding and day school located in Maryland near the picturesque Chesapeake Bay, an hour’s drive from either Philadelphia or Baltimore.
