Essential Functions:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition collaborates with a team of recruitment staff to seek top talent in senior leadership and Executive Management roles in order to drive pipeline for our Executive and Professional MBA programs. This position will demonstrate business acumen, be driven by sourcing top talent, and will be innovative in her/his thinking about ways to identify, attract and recruit prospective students. This role will apply business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent acquisition strategies and priorities for the PMBA and EMBA program. It is expected they will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. As part of the role this position will coordinate activities and develop relationships/networks with community service/organizations, alumni and development, social media, and internet sites. This role will build relationships with both internal and external sources to achieve objectives. The Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving the continued success of the PMBA and EMBA program. They will need to provide regular updates on best practices in industry through benchmarking and will work across departments to drive innovation and program success. Maintain job responsibilities and meet or exceed stated goals through on-going and dedicated performance of the following activities. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - General responsibilities:
- Generate interest in Olin Master's programs and maintain effective communication with perspective students regarding graduate programs.
- Manage pipeline by maintaining extensive contacts; work with Customer Relational Management System to track communication and outreach with potential talent.
- Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, digital resources and online channels, such as LinkedIn to identify candidates with the skills sets necessary for our Executive MBA and Professional MBA program.
- Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels.
- Build business relationships with current and potential students.
- Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow pipeline.
- Develop customized targeted prospecting strategies.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with business professionals and be effective at persuading and influencing executives.
- Ensure deep understanding of the talent need.
- Coordinate business generation activities with Weston Career Center Industry Specialists and Corporate Relations and develop ways to communicate with businesses about our portfolio of programs through HR fairs or on site presentations.
- Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients.
- Recruit passive candidates while building sustainable relationships. Share industry knowledge and assist candidates in making informed decisions surrounding career growth and opportunity.
- Provide expert recruitment services, execute on the search strategy, and manage the prospect mining process.
- May assist sales team with qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
- Marketing, Events & Recruitment:
- Act as a primary representative and attend recruitment events that include, but are not limited to, university events, community meetings and gatherings, Olin specific events.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, as well as ambassador programs to create communications to prospective students. Types of communication may include, but are not limited to, emails, phone calls, topical industry or program news releases, blogs, call campaigns and recruitment newsletters.
- Collaborate with Alumni and Development on referrals and attend targeted alumni events that would have the potential for referral sources.
- Assist the Recruitment Team in identifying market trends and collaborates on recruitment strategies around diverse populations, partners with marketing department on marketing projects and creative initiatives. Assist the team in executing on quarterly updates on web and other marketing materials in order to ensure accurate and consistent data is being presented and disseminated appropriately.
- Serve as the primary representative on various committees that may include, but are not limited to, Corporate Partnership Programs, Alumni Engagement and Community Outreach.
- Update PowerPoint presentations for virtual, on and off campus marketing purposes and ensure that program presentations are up-to-date with correct information, updated faculty, ambassador and alumni profiles when applicable.
- Under the direction of the Associate Director and in collaboration with teams, execute targeted diversity recruitment: military, women, ethnic, geographic, etc. Primary roles to include: assist teams in diversity messaging and communication, creating email templates, assist management with creating follow up plan to nature connections made events and tracking diverse prospects in campaigns.
- Computer & Technical Expertise:
- Establish and maintain facility with computer operating systems for purposes of efficient and concise record keeping and generation of communication and reports.
- Establish expertise in University systems and other computer operating systems as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Business education.
- Previous university experience is helpful.
- Experience with lead generation and prospect management.
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition related tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.

Salary Range:
The hiring range for this position is $48,087 - $62,517 annually.
Job Type/Schedule:
This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.
