The position will be located on the Fairfax campus. About the Department: George Mason University's College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) prepares students to become leaders and shape the public's health through academic excellence, professional service, and innovative practice and research initiatives. CHHS enrolls more than 3,000 students in its nationally-recognized offerings, including: 5 undergraduate degrees, 13 graduate degrees, and 7 certificate programs. About the Position: The Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design Coordinator will work primarily on digital marketing and project management for the College of Health and Human Services and will be a member of the CHHS Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC). This position will focus on content development, email marketing, website/SEO, social media operations, and graphic design. The Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design Coordinator will also assist with reporting/metrics. Responsibilities: The Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design Coordinator has responsibilities in the following areas: Graphic Design: Complete graphic design projects such as developing collateral, managing photo repository, maintaining Website design elements, and creating social media graphics. Digital Marketing: Help manage OMC digital channels in support of College marketing and communications goals. Help execute Web content and email marketing. Assist with newsletter development, email marketing, website/SEO, and video content. The Coordinator will own the day-to-day operations of social media including developing engaging content, scheduling content, and monitoring metrics. Content Development: Work with OMC to develop and manage content that fulfills the marketing and communication goals of the College, support content development for events, social media, the Annual Report and other pieces as required. Project Management: Work with OMC team to maintain the Wrike project management dashboards, ensure team projects remain on-track, recommending adjustments as needed. Reporting and Metrics: Work with OMC team to gather and disseminate data on a regularly scheduled basis. Other Duties as Assigned: This may include support for events, data management, procurement, or other responsibilities to fulfill the marketing and communication goals of the College.
