Named Professor of Journalism – International Journalism
Named Professor of Journalism – International Journalism Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism (www.journalism.columbia.edu) is currently seeking a named professor of Journalism (tenure track, open rank). As the Patti Birch Professor of International Journalism, the incumbent in this endowed position has the primary purpose to strengthen our teaching of international journalism. The holder of the professorship would also serve as a leader of the new Simon and June Li Center for International Journalism, whose purpose is to fund programs, postgraduate fellowships, and scholarships. The Birch Professor will develop a vision for the Li Center and act as a convener and thought leader, as well as be the public face of the School, when it comes to global
