Public Relations Director
American Staffing Asssociation
The American Staffing Association is seeking an experienced professional for the position of director of public relations. The director oversees strategy, planning, and implementation of association’s PR programs, particularly via news media and social media outreach and engagement and industry marketing efforts. Prepares and delivers content to promote and enhance a positive image of staffing and recruiting industry among targeted external audiences.

A college degree in PR, journalism, communications, English, or related field is preferred, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in PR, preferably in a trade association, PR agency, business enterprise, or combination thereof. Must possess a deep knowledge of PR and social media strategy and public policy, and hands-on expertise in media relations, including prior experience serving as a spokesperson. Established relationships with business, economics, human resource trade, and associated media outlets and reporters and familiarity with and interest in employment and economic trends desired. |
