Department: Antonin Scalia Law School Web Announcement: Communications Assistant The Law and Economics Center (LEC) is searching for a Communications Assistant. The LEC of the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is a national center for research and education that focuses on the timely and relevant economic analysis of legal and public policy issues. Position Responsibilities: The LEC seeks a self-motivated and detailed Communications Assistant whose primary responsibilities will include the maintenance and effective deployment of the LEC website and the LEC contact engagement databases and software (Cvent). This includes creating program sites, updating records, undertaking quality-control measures, to build event registration sites and send email communication. The position will assume management of these tools over time. Additional responsibilities will include preparing and sending e-newsletters and emails, editing and posting video and audio clips, and managing Facebook and Twitter accounts with an eye toward curating engaging content and building community. Manage LEC's photo library and conduct photo searches using external sources for use in our publications. Provide general support to LEC's events team on conferences (including taking pictures), publications, media outreach, and other areas as needed. The Communications Assistant will also be responsible for a wide range of other web-based, multimedia, writing, social media, and administrative assignments as needed. Required Qualifications:
