Description The Center for Public Integrity, a Pulitzer Prize-winning nonprofit news organization focused on investigating inequality, seeks a data journalist for a full-time, one-year position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale GIS projects and experience working with QGIS, ArcMap or PostGIS. Familiarity with real estate and tax data is also a plus. We welcome and encourage applicants with non-traditional career paths. Public Integrity is based in Washington, D.C., but we are working remotely under pandemic conditions, and open to remote work applicants for the duration of the one-year period for this position. Although this is a one-year position, there may be opportunity for longer-term employment should funding allow. This job is within the bargaining unit represented by the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, CWA Local 32035, and would be subject to a collective bargaining agreement covering the bargaining unit.
