The Co-Curricular Communications Assistant reports to the Associate Head of School. He/she will be issued a seasonal schedule of duties, which include but are not limited to: Populate daily content for AOA social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). This will include managing a new, improved twitter account for athletics, creating graphics for posts, creating video for posts, and creatively posting about weekly campus events for marketing.
Create content for AOA website (video, current event images, athletic news pieces, etc). This will vary season to season and require weekly communication and direction from arts, marketing, admissions, and athletics.
Update local media with athletic results, current campus events, and significant AOA stories.
Maximize the capability of the AOA website for media. This includes staying current on updated tutorials from Blackbaud, and presenting new information/capabilities/ideas to Director of Marketing. Work with other departments (admissions, IT, operations, marketing) on collaborations as needed. Coordinate live-streaming of essential AOA activities (select athletic events, campus programs, etc)
