This staff position will be responsible for serving as an instructional coach to paraprofessionals who are implementing reading and math interventions as part of a federally-funded research project. This staff member will be responsible for: learning how to deliver the reading and math interventions and related assessments; learning behavior management strategies; providing on-going coaching guidance to paraprofessionals, a majority of this coaching will be provided virtually; conduct assessments with participating paraprofessionals, teachers, and students; travel to local schools to conduct assessment and observations; code video and audio recordings of intervention; conduct data entry and data checking; may be involved in travel to other sites (Nashville, Dallas, Atlanta) for meetings, assessment, or observations; will be required to complete human subjects research training.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide ongoing support to school staff members participating in the research study
Conduct assessment with study participants
Provide assistance with data and materials management
Meet with Project Coordinator for ongoing training
Bachelor's degree in Special Education (or related field) AND special education teacher certification is necessary
2 years of special education teaching experience with experience delivering both academic and behavioral interventions to students with disabilities is necessary
Access to reliable transportation is necessary
Previous experience serving as an instructional coach is preferred
