The School of Public Health and Health Professions seeks to hire a part-time associate director for equity diversity and inclusion who will work collaboratively with the associate dean for equity, diversity and inclusion to help execute the School's strategic plan for promoting diversity and inclusion. The position is 0.50 FTE (18.75 hours per week). The associate director will have a home on the University at Buffalo's, South Campus.
Key responsibilities include:
coordinating the Schools' Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council
facilitating EDI trainings
coordinate diversity awards
assist with creating an annual diversity report
coordination and administrative tasks associated with equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives

About the School of Public Health and Health Professions
The school offers programs at every degree level and is the home to departments of biostatistics, community health and health behavior, epidemiology and environmental health, exercise and nutrition sciences, and rehabilitation science. It is one of only a few schools across the country that includes both health-related professions and public health. It has a diverse student body which it is actively engaged in supporting. The school has an energetic equity, diversity and inclusion council and provides professional development opportunities in inclusive pedagogy and other equity-related issues.
