The Assistant Director of Student Recruitment will identify a diverse pool of lead partnership programs, leveraging vendor relationships and engaging with outside organizations to build a pool of qualified scholars for an Honors University. The position will work collaboratively with all office staff, overseeing quality control of processes and building dashboards and reporting structures to allow for data-driven decision making. The position will oversee all communications sent out by territory managers and ensure they integrate into the overall office marketing and communication strategy, including invitations to meet with UMBC representatives while traveling for recruitment related events.
Specific responsibilities will include annual review of recruitment territory for all admissions staff; providing input into the development of new recruitment materials and modifications of existing materials, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of their use in the recruitment process; coordinating social media campaigns and outreach to recruitment partners in high schools and Community Based Organizations; developing territory manager initiated campaigns to support recruitment and enrollment; managing a small recruitment territory; reviewing applications for admission (including rendering appropriate admissions decisions); understanding the university’s procurement policies, especially pertaining to travel and obtaining necessary documentation for approval; and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of two years management and supervisory experience
Minimum of two years experience in strategic recruitment
Valid driver's license
Experience with CRM systems and Salesforce is preferred
