Summary of Duties:
Position is responsible for developing and executing an annual work plan for communication activities for the Office of the Provost and the WSU Pullman Chancellor's Office. Full-time remote work is available for this position.
This includes website management, writing, editing and/or coordinating program schedules, presentation materials, talking points, reports, announcements, newsletters, brochures, social media, and other material or projects supporting the unit's communication, reporting, development and academic coordination goals.
A Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing or other relevant field AND either two (2) years of professional experience in print OR broadcast news media, public relations, marketing including the use of electronic media or two (2) years of other relevant professional experience.
Experience in higher education or a closely related field.
Experience developing digital communication vehicles.
Experience implementing multi-platform communication programs.
Experience communicating with diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience implementing internal communication vehicles.
Experience working on multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with message delivery over multiple platforms.
Experience with campaign/program assessment and/or evaluation.
Experience and/or coursework in applied quantitative methods.
