Visuals, Social Media, and Communications Specialist
Location: Locust Valley, New York

Required Education: 4 Year Degree
A visual and written communicator who can tell stories across a variety of mediums and platforms. Designs and produces visual and written content for the web, digital media, social media, in-bound marketing, print, and video. Part of a dynamic and inclusive team that develops communications strategies for the school.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
Coordinates social media strategies and content development/posting/analysis for all school social media platforms.
Responsible for all website updates – content, traffic, and engagement/analysis.
A member of the school’s Website Content Team; writes and posts for news section of website across various disciplines and departments.
Coordinates and executes weekly bulletin and online blog page.
Liaison with digital advertising representatives (i.e. Google Adwords).
Consults with various constituents of the school to execute campaigns and evaluate individual project needs.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in new media/communication/art required. Minimum of 3 years experience in editorial or advertising visuals. Website design and editing experience required. Proven experience with social media campaigns. Experience with video/editing and photography.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Fluency with Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Design software; Command of analytic applications, Google Analytics, social media analytic programs, and Word Processing software. Video editing experience preferred. Experience with HubSpot and Canva a plus.
