The Team / The Business : S&P Global Market Intelligence, a best-in-class sector-focused news and financial information provider, is looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our Software Development team in either our NYC office or our Princeton, NJ office.
Candidate will work on a self-managed team to maintain, update, and implement processes utilized by other teams. Coordinate with stakeholders to design innovative functionality in existing and future applications. Work across teams to enhance the flow of our data.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Object Oriented programing in .Net
- Understanding of AWS, a must
- Spark with Scala Development
- Development of high-quality database solutions
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures using T-SQL
- Review and write ongoing business requirements in existing SP
- Production Support - must be able to read and diagnose problems
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Agile Fluent, Scale Agile a nice to have
- SQL Developer requirements and qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or similar role
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming - a must
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
- Team player
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300 - $155,900 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
