Deputy Managing Editor/News The journalist in this position manages the essential news portfolio at The Philadelphia Inquirer and thus plays a central and defining role in guiding our talented staff of editors and reporters and in determining the news we deliver every day to our audience.  The  DME is responsible for supervising and directing three critical areas of news and enterprise: Politics & Governing, Education and  Justice & Injustice.
