Essential Functions
The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications is primarily responsible for game coverage (scorekeeping, reporting, and record-keeping of athletic events) of a wide range of sports and athletic events, along with coverage of awards and other news and feature stories as assigned.

- Assist the Director of Athletic Communications with game day operations oversee press row/press box management for home athletics events, including supervision of student assistants
