The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks an adjunct instructor to teach JOUR 207: Reporting and Writing I in Fall 2022. JOUR 207 provides students with foundational skills to report, write and produce news stories    across multiple platforms, including social media, digital and print news outlets.Applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience reporting and writing for an established news outlet. That experience should include daily, hard news and/or breaking news reporting. Candidates should know best practices for reporting and publishing using social media. A strong candidate demonstrates a thoughtful understanding of current issues in the industry. Teaching experience is preferred.T
