Honolulu Civil Beat is looking for an experienced editor who can help take a small staff of smart, passionate reporters to a higher level. We believe that journalism can and should have an impact; that a vibrant news organization is vital to democracy; that we can make a difference in the lives of people and in public policy through solid, smart journalism. We are seeking a veteran journalist who is a motivator and mentor as well as a manager, a team leader who can pitch in on projects and help run a daily news operation while juggling enterprise.
