TU's College of Business and Economics is currently seeking a Coordinator of Strategic Communications. The Coordinator of Strategic Communications develops communications strategies in coordination with college leadership to advance the college's goals and raise its profile in the community, and support all external relationships and outreach, including friend- and fundraising, advisory board interactions, alumni outreach, social media, online publications, and ranking efforts.

Plan, write and curate strategic, on-brand messaging for the college through multimedia channels; Review and edit all written communications from the college before production and/or distribution; Manage the college's internal and external-facing media, including website, blog, social media accounts, magazine, promotional materials, press releases, presentations, speeches and more; Coordinate and manage the college's external ranking initiatives, including US News and World Report, Poets & Quants and others; Conceptualize and design printed and digital materials using Adobe CC Suite, including flyers and brochures, annual reports, presentations, proposals, handbooks, environmental signage and displays; Plan and execute immersive, engaging events for various audiences; Work with university partners, including the Office of Development and departments, to assist in efforts to obtain external grant funding; Edit AACSB reports to provide a coherent, common voice; Oversee the college's social impact initiatives, including the college's Well Suited Wardrobe; Develop and maintain strategic relationships with on-campus and business community partners, including the CBE Advisory Board, Young Alumni Advisory Council, and alumni

Successful candidates will have...

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (communications, English, marketing or similar field)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience creating, managing and assessing social media content
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple projects as well as setting and meeting deadlines

Preferences:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Success crafting grant proposals 
• Experience in writing for news media, speech writing, advertising, public relations, direct marketing for higher education
• Experience designing printed and digital materials using Adobe CC Suite
