Job Overview: Texas Monthly is looking for a deputy editor, reporting to the editor in chief and serving as his second in command. The deputy’s principal responsibility will be to supervise our nationally renowned print magazine. This important opening comes at an especially exciting time as TM heads into its fiftieth anniversary year. We’re looking to refresh the print publication and ensure that it continues to provide the world’s best storytelling about Texas and Texans: its politicians and entrepreneurs, pitmasters and chefs, fishing guides and hoteliers, musicians and novelists, educators and scientists.
