Responsible for assisting in the development of College of Arts and Sciences websites and the execution and maintenance of design and content updates. This position will work collaboratively with Departments, Centers, and the Marketing Coordinator in the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs to ensure consistent messaging to internal and external audiences. Additionally, this position is responsible for the execution of all electronic and social media platforms. 1. Website development, support and maintenance *Maintain the College web and internet presence; support College, Centers and Department websites, including content creation and collaboration with identified internal and external resources *Support and assist in website update and maintenance efforts; including posting of new content and ongoing editing of existing pages *Create and maintain web pages, graphics, and multimedia projects utilizing various technology applications and software *Formulate and execute a strategy for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the entire collection of College of Arts and Sciences websites *Implement technical changes within Drupal that will ensure best SEO practices *Manage SEO using select software programs *Conduct audits of College and Department websites to assess effectiveness of tactics *Analyze web traffic metrics; generate reports and recommendations *Implement best practices to achieve the highest level of success rate for the entire College of Arts and Sciences group of websites *Provide training and skills-transfer to College of Arts and Sciences faculty and Departmental Coordinators as they relate to SEO and the Drupal platform
2. Social media, web and new technologies *Provide support for the College’s social media presence including content creation, procedure administration and implementation *Provide photo content for College of Arts and Sciences website and social media; work with the College's photographer to organize and repurpose throughout the College of Arts and Sciences and other Lehigh constituencies such as Admissions and Development *Recommend to Departments and Programs photography opportunities in support of the College of Arts and Sciences branding efforts *Research and develop recommendations on new web technologies and associated communications platforms and tools *Direct best practices across various platforms and social communities
3. Provide general editorial, technical and logistical support for the Marketing and Communications functions for the College *Edit and proofread web communications content *Write web-focused news articles on selected College of Arts and Sciences events
4. Digital marketing and technical support *Provide support and recommendations for all phases of College digital marketing campaigns for programs across all college electronic platforms *Formulate and execute Google Analytics reports that will generate hard data used to inform strategic marketing decisions *Analyze and recommend digital and social media "buys" that will maximize each campaign budget and directly impact results *Monitor all digital activities daily to enable quick reaction to ads and thus ensure optimum results

The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of related work experience
Excellent computer skills with experience using Word, Excel, Creative Cloud, HTML, Content Management Systems
Excellent writing and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and deadline focused
Must be able to collaborate and work as a member of a team
Proficient knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to problems
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
