Salary: 48027.20 - 81681.60
The Center Administrator position is available IMMEDIATELY. The successful candidate will have responsibility as part of the MNPRO administrative team for planning, implementing, and managing general center-level, program operations. We are looking for an experienced individual who meets the qualifications and description outlined below. This is expected to be a 4-year position, with extension pending availability of funds.
50% Administrative support
Manages, organizes, and improves internal communications, data, and record keeping
Maintains careful records, including meeting minutes, to ensure follow-through and successful communications and operations
Provides support as needed for finance including procurement, reconciliation of expenses, vendor set-ups and service contract requests
Maintains connection and communications with advisory boards, internal and external partners
Conducts analyses and makes recommendations to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of business operations to best align with MNPRO goals
Works collaboratively with researchers to draft and revise visuals for presentations, publications, and communications
Coordinates outreach events locally and throughout the state
20% Strategic plan
Assists in the execution of MNPRO’s initial strategic planning process
Partners with MNPRO leadership to plan, implement, monitor, adapt, and assess the center’s strategic plan over multiple years
15% Grant management
Tracks application processes, timelines, and materials
Tracks reporting requirements and assist in preparing/submitting reports
Coordinates financial reports with departmental administration
15% Communication
Plans and prepares communications for MNPRO’s social media and future communication outlets
Coordinates MNPRO research and outreach communications with departmental, college, and university staff
Leads website development and manages content changes
Identifies and creates additional communication tools, methods, and strategies needed to share news, updates, projects, and other information
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal six years
- Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational, and execution skills as well as ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, and shift priorities
- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated writing and editorial skills
- Demonstrated data and budget management skills
- Experience and advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Experience leading communication efforts including social media, website management, and newsletters
- Experience organizing events
- Experience with grant applications, management, and reporting
Work Arrangements
- Options for hybrid work; may require infrequent hours outside of the typical Monday - Friday workday
