This position researches, reports, edits and writes daily news and feature stories as part of the station's on-air and digital news efforts. Stories require extensive research, analysis of interview content, investigative and verification work, and individualized interpretation based on audience factors. Supplemental commentary will be required when participating as an informed on-air source of content. The person in this position also participates in on-air membership drives. They will appear at fundraiser, station, and community events. The person in this position may be called upon to create promotional and interstitial content as needed or required. They must be available for reports related to significant breaking news.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) - Basic skills required

Salary Range: $38,000-$42,000
