Under general supervision, plans, develops and implements marketing strategies and marketing plans for Berkeley Advanced Media Institute.
Develops and maintains editorial calendar for all media channels.
Oversees WordPress website, managing content while maximizing for SEO and SEM.
Drafts and/or edits copy for the website, social media, advertising, or other relevant media.
This includes writing, producing, sourcing or editing text files, images, videos, audio files, and other media to accompany promotional, marketing and sales campaigns.
Coordinates advertising placements and schedules, including overseeing Google AdWords.
Conducts and uses basic market research and Google analytics to support and inform decision-making.
Oversees and manages branding identity, style, voice, colors for logos, presentation decks, graphics, document templates et cetera for external and internal constituencies.
Oversees, writes and produces email marketing & newsletters, maintaining email marketing lists and identifying distribution lists for audience targeting.
Solid knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies and best practices.
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services.
Knowledge of and/or can quickly learn the campus including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
Organizational skills and skills in file creation, maintenance and management.
High degree of written and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of video and audio production.
Skilled in editing in WordPress and SEO, and SEM.
Knowledgeable in social media posting for business.
Experience in email marketing and list management.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Knowledge with Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
Salary & Benefits
This is a 3-year, 60% (24 hours/week), Contract Appointment, eligible for full UC benefits with the possibility of extension. This position is a non-exempt, bi-weekly paid position. Hourly pay for this role is commensurate with experience.
