Your day to day:
Organize and edit new and existing video footage to produce creative video content. This includes event-related activities, as well as community service, personal stories, etc. Duties include editing game highlights, creating intro videos and hype videos, producing feature content for television, shooting and creating green screen graphics and general shooting assignments at sporting events. Also includes streaming of events such as press conferences and Hall of Fame ceremonies.
Responsible for the production, integration and distribution of videoboards and/or LED boards. Work with Marketing and Sponsorship/Development departments with special projects and special events. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical requirements associated with multimedia entities. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director for Media Services.
Conceive script, score and produce original Live Broadcast events. Supervise in game official’s replay system as described by the NCAA. Coordinate and manage workers, on-site setup, production, and teardown of all live events and video board operations. Coordinate all PFW athletic broadcasts with external television productions when necessary.
Conceive script, score and produce original highlight, motivational and banquet videos for all sports. Manage highlights video database to fulfill requests for video footage for networks, news organizations and departmental requests. Conceptualize, create goals and plans to produce video content. This includes content for web, social media and video board.
Responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling and supervising temporary and student workers. Assign, instruct and review the work and skills of these workers; oversee development of production team and use of equipment. Physical maintenance of cameras and gear used by crews in production, education on upgrades and new software/hardware packages.
Establish video equipment budget and be accountable for ensuring the program stays with in the budget. Obtain quotes and ensure purchase will meet the needs of the department. Analyze and make recommendations on future video equipment plans and budget, on a three-year rolling basis. Attend athletic department staff meetings when requested by Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director for Media Services.

You’ve worked hard to earn a Bachelor’s Degree.
You have gained at least three years of experience in TV or multi-media production along with experience directing multi-camera sporting events for TV, web, or video board applications.
You have experience in professional or collegiate athletics.
You are familiar with video processes and equipment (Newtek Tricaster or Carbonite switcher and Newtek 3play) for streaming live events.
You are skilled in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Premier, Photoshop, After Effects).
