Detailed Job Description
Set up MS program, psychology and school psychology meetings, lunches, special events such as graduate interview days, assist with Senior Project Poster session, School Psychology supervisor luncheon, graduation hooding ceremony, graduation, holiday party, Fall Social and assist with scheduling of guest speakers.
Leader/Coordinator for combined Graduate Orientation for departments of Psychology and also Communication, Criminal Justice, and Public Policy making all arrangements with agendas, catering and event planning.
Handle new graduate student applications, process acceptance or denials, send acceptance letters, follow up with all applicants and potential applicants. Run prospective student reports, inquires, and check for applicant deposits. Register incoming Experimental Psychology and School Psychology students. Assist in registration with incoming undergraduate students. Provide a source of mentoring for new staff and students. Answer MS phone as well as the many questions asked by students and drop in's. Assist adjunct faculty
Type letters, memos, schedules, handbooks, copying, faxing, maintain office records, order supplies, send out mailings, and respond to emails in both personal and email@example.com accounts. Maintain the 3 psychology departments social media accounts, posting stories and news to keep relevant and update the psychology website. Point of contact for printers; maintain services, troubleshooting, and calling to fix printers when they are non-operational.

Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of full-time professional experience with evidence of increasing levels of responsibilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent computer skills, spreadsheets, database
s and calendaring.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail.
