The Communications Designer is tasked with the conceptualization, planning and designing of a variety of content to be used across print, digital and multimedia channels, including SU News, SU Today and their corresponding social media platforms. The individual should be a competent and creative designer who collaborates well with partners to develop visual communications that support goals and priorities of the teams charged with leading and managing the University's internal communications and media relations. The designer will collaborate with other members of the Division of Communications, as well as colleagues in Academic Affairs, the Office of Research, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources, Student Experience and other academic and administrative units, to ensure the consistent use of the University's brand guidelines and orientation to specific audiences and objectives. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently and within a team. The ideal candidate should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong to multitasker and able to support executive priorities.
