Full-Time, 35 hours/week: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
The Assistant Director of Planning & Assessment assists in the development of strategic & operational plans, and helps organize the University's institutional assessment efforts and survey administration. The position assists in on-going efforts to improve assessment data gathering and reporting, and the wider use of college assessment management and data tools to support college planning, evaluation, accreditation, and decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with the Director on campus-wide assessment initiatives to ensure proper execution of the University's institutional assessment plan. Provide support to the campus community in the development and implementation of planning and assessment initiatives, particularly surveys, by assisting with the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and constituent surveys.
Support on-going efforts to improve assessment data gathering and reporting and the wider use of college assessment management and data tools to support college planning, evaluation, operations and decision-making.
Works closely with the Director to assist administrative departments to develop relevant outcome measures and performance indicators, and to document, track and implement recommendations.
Assist in the coordination of the administration of national benchmarking and internally developed survey tools. (e.g. Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Survey, National Survey on Student Engagement NSSE).
Help develop strategic analysis reports for College Leadership through in-depth analysis of available external data sources including Burning Glass, IPEDS Data Center, National Student Clearinghouse, and U.S. News & World Report.
Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (Business, Organizational Development/Psychology, or related field).
1 - 3 years of work related experience
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
