The Director is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all La red Health Center’s marketing strategies, corporate communications and public relations activities. Provides administrative and strategic oversight for La Red Health Center’s fundraising program and grant application strategies. The job includes fund development, information management, financial administration, and fiscal reporting while implementing fundraising activities for our regular medical service line programs and our capital campaign. The Director reports directly to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and communicates regularly with the Board of Directors.
Directs a fund development program that includes the annual fund plan, foundation and corporate gifts, special events (including annual fundraising activities) and planned giving.
Oversees and implements strategies that will grow annual revenue for operational support, facilities capital campaign, and special projects.
Leads strategies and research to identify, prioritize, cultivate, solicit, recognize and steward all donors and prospects.
In coordination with the Chief Executive Officer, builds and sustains relationships with current, new and potential grant-giving organizations and individuals and manages a portfolio of such.
Manages individual donor campaigns, including membership renewals and special appeals.
Develops, markets and implements a planned giving program to ensure La Red Health Center’s long-term financial health.
Manages organizational membership databases-creates profiles and tracks donors and prospects; and, in coordination with staff, issues email announcements as necessary.
Trains Board members and other volunteers how to fundraise for the organization. Provides administrative support for their outreach.
Ensures articulation of LRHC’s desired image and position to all internal and external constituencies.
Works to secure progressive and/or socially responsible business partners for projects.
Serves as a representative of the organization before public audiences as requested.
Along with staff and Advisory Board, represents La Red health Center at public events, conferences, workshops and media events.
Provides organizational information and support to all inquiries; provides information on La Red Health Center’s program progress; develops materials and approaches to facilitate work; and follows up inquiries as needed.
Collaborates with staff, consultants, Board and grantees to gather stories and statistics that demonstrate the organization’s work of grantees and donors.
Evaluates and measures the success of all marketing and communication efforts in the marketplace.
Drafts, prepares and sends media press releases regarding La Red Health Center events, news, grant awards, new clinical providers, promotions, and other successes.
Designs, coordinates and releases a variety of print marketing materials for all major publications, including periodic newsletters, brochures, the Annual Report, La Red Health Center’s website, newspaper and magazine advertising.
Expands marketing efforts with the design and implementation of radio and TV advertising, releasing thirty and sixty second commercials using demographically appropriate cable and broadcasting companies.
Serves as staff liaison to the Board of Directors, marketing committee and fundraising committee.
Manages and monitors web-based advertising and social media applications including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email. Provides frequent updates on organizational changes and news.
Continues to build, improve and enhance LRHC website, improving applications and functionality.
Analyzes effectiveness of development efforts and makes improvements accordingly.
Updates LRHC outdoor signage with timely and appropriate messaging.
Performs other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.

La Red Health Center, (LRHC) operated as a 24 hour/7 days per week telephone hotline to facilitate access to medical care for individuals with no or limited English proficiency. Referrals were made to a network of primary and subspecialty care physicians who were bilingual and who treated patients at discounted rates.
