The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for two tenure-track positions focused on screenwriting in the Television, Radio & Film (TRF) Department to start in August, 2023. The successful candidate will teach screenwriting courses to students studying television, film, gaming narratives, and emerging visual media, and will play a key role in creating synergies that keep the Newhouse School at the crest of practices and trends in the entertainment industry.

In January 2020, the S.I. Newhouse Foundation announced a $75 million gift to the Newhouse School, the largest donation to Syracuse University in its 150-year history and one of the largest ever to any communications school.
