Position Summary
The Graduate Program Recruiter manages the recruitment cycle. Collaborates with a team of recruitment and admission staff to engage with prospective students through the recruitment process of various masterâ™s programs. Role focuses on initiating and nurturing prospective student interest in Master's programs through a variety of channels including in person, phone, on-line and on and off campus events, as well as providing counseling on program and school differentiators, attributes and overall selling points. Counseling and guidance will be primarily executed through 1:1 meetings and creating/sending communication to students at all stages of the admission cycle.
Primarily active in the recruitment process but the Graduate Program Recruiter may also be involved in the admission process through the execution of interviews. Knowledge of the admission requirements, learning outcomes of the program and experience required. In charge of maintaining accurate data on how students are progressing through the recruitment cycle as well as overall reporting trends on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
Additional responsibilities focus on spearheading and managing on and off campus event planning and execution, travel planning, community outreach initiatives, interview process, alumni engagement and cross unit collaboration.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Manages recruitment program. Responsible for enrollment and meeting metrics. Generates interest in Olin Master's programs and maintains effective communication with perspective students regarding graduate programs.
Responsible for building relationships. Manages prospective students by maintaining extensive contacts; monitoring application progress from start to completion. Works with Customer Relational Management System to track communication and outreach with prospective students.
Qualifies prospective students through program enrollment requirements and admission interviews.
Responsible for retention of newly admitted students and meeting enrollment goals.
In charge of assisting the student with pre-enrollment activities and participates in orientation.
Responsible for developing and executing on Recruitment Roadmaps and New Admit plans for the programs assigned.
 Collaborates with Student Services, Career Services and Marketing Teams to disseminate information on progress to goal and encourage best practices and transparency in process.
Marketing, Events & Recruitment
Acts as primary representative and attends recruitment events that include but are not limited to, college fairs, community meetings, and domestic and international recruitment fairs.
Must be willing to travel as needed.
Coordinates with internal and external teams to create communications to prospective students and admitted students. Types of communication may include emails, phone calls, relevant industry or program news releases, blogs, call campaigns and recruitment or yield information.
Organizes, plans and executes on and off campus recruitment events for prospective students and participates on admission and recruitment-oriented panels as needed.
Assists recruitment team in identifying market trends and develops recruitment and admission strategies, collaborates with marketing department on marketing projects and creative initiatives. Will assist the team in executing on quarterly updates on web and other marketing materials in order to ensure accurate and consistent data is being presented and disseminated appropriately.
Collaborates with events coordinator on-campus recruiting event planning and places the on the web when appropriate.
Develops power point presentations for virtual, on and off campus marketing purposes and ensures that program presentations are up-to-date with correct information, updated faculty, ambassador and alumni profiles when applicable.
Will attend cross-unit team meetings.
Assists with finding classes, faculty support, presentations, marketing materials, and attend advisor meetings as needed.
Assists with targeted diversity recruitment: military, women, ethnic, geographic, etc. Primary roles to include: assist teams in diversity messaging and communication, creating email templates, assist admission with tracking applications, assist management with creating follow up plan to nature connections made events and tracking diverse prospects in campaigns through admissions cycle.
Admission
Communicates with stakeholders on current status of application totals and decisions, elements of diversity and scholarship awards.
Makes recommendation on referrals across the portfolio to cross-sell effectively.
Tracks any overdue deposits and attempt to move the student to accepted offer status.
In charge of conducting audits on all admitted students requesting a deposit extension prior to sending to admission for consideration.
Works with teams to identify applicants who did not complete their application by a specific deadline and determine if they should be moved to limited status.
Computer & Technical Expertise
Establishes and maintains facility with computer operating systems pertaining to general inquiries, admission, and financial aid for purposes of efficient and concise record keeping and generation of communication and reports.
Establishes expertise in CRM, Application system, Interview Scheduling System, Event Systems, Reporting Software and other computer systems as needed.
Reporting functions to include: quality control checks with teams to ensure proper follow up with leads/prospects for all events, weekly and monthly updates on how prospects and applicants are progressing thru the cycle and notifying management of any trends. Regular updates on progress to goal from Prospect to Enrolled stage.
In charge of collaborating with operations team on End of Cycle Clean up, Program Audits, Final Program Data and other various reporting initiatives.
Develops expertise in the evaluation and use of emerging outreach tools such as other social media channels.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required and three years related experience.

Salary Range
$47,300.00 - $78,200.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
