The George Mason University Fiscal Services Program Office, invites applications for a Business Automation Developer. The Business Automation Developer within the Fiscal Services Program Office will work within the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) to:
Develop and support low-code technology solutions to improve and transform business processes within Fiscal Services and for the University community;
Work with Business Systems Analysts and process owners to define requirements and develop automation solutions in accordance with best practices;
Monitor and support existing automation processes to include root cause analysis for failures and recommendations for corrective actions;
Mentor and train other employees and students in Automation best practices and development; and
Support the Fiscal Services and Automation Internship Programs, providing opportunities for learning and growth for interns in the program.
Bachelor's Degree in computer information systems, programming engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;
Knowledge of SDLC and software engineering best practices;
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others, including Business Systems Analysts and functional systems users; and
Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships across multiple constituencies.
Demonstrated (generally 2-4+ years) experience implementing, maintaining, and improving low-code automation solutions (such as RPA, Microsoft Power Platform, etc);
Developer certification(s); and
Experience with business process redesign, particularly within an automation conversion.
