SUMMARY: The Senior Editor is responsible for working closely with writers and editors to produce the highest quality content TAI possibly can. We are looking for someone to be deep in the stories. Not only should this editor have expertise in line editing, they should also be skilled in writing, copy editing, and structure of stories. The Senior Editor works closely with editors and writers to develop expertise on assigned topics and beats. This editor is responsible for helping to brainstorm story ideas, clarify mission-aligned angles, evaluate pitches and sourcing, and be deeply involved in the day-to-day editorial processes.
